The feedback I received in the last pitch was to add a little detail. In the first pitch I was told to cut the time and on contrast on the second one I was told to add a little time to allow for detail. Even with the two different feedbacks I think I was able to find a happy medium in the length of time. I was also told to dress up a little more and add some enthusiasm. I think this piece of advice was absolutely imperative to improving my pitch.
In the newest pitch I took a little extra time to dress up and present myself in a professional manner. I also tried to pause and add details when necessary. I found these pieces of advice incorporated well into my pitch. I found that the pitch was more memorized making for a smoother transition. I think this pitch could be utilized in real life everyday scenarios.

Great Pitch, though you seem a bit nervous, I can relate. I have less problem speaking to a room of people than I do the silly little camera. I noticed in another elevator pitch, the presenter was focusing on something else. Like the camera was filming her give an elevator speech to someone, not to the camera. I did this on my last two pitches and it really helped.

The way you presented yourself really enhanced your credibility, making you appear more confident and convincing. Your added enthusiasm was also charming, making me, and audience member, more like to partake in your pitch. Memorizing the words made the smooth delivery beneficial to your overall pitch.
ReplyDeleteHi Victoria! Great pitch. Your credibility comes across with the facts that you provided, and you touched my heart with your words. My suggestions would be memorizing your pitch, as you seem to be reading when looking at the side, and placing the camera down so that it is steady, as well as moving it farther back. Also, conveying confidence in your pitch would really sell your idea.
